No this post is not about an actual chicken nugget and yes it has been ages since I last posted. No better day than today.

Recently I have been thinking about happiness. This may be because I just watched the documentary Happy. Which, by the way, I highly recommend. I thought I would share something that makes me extremely happy. That would be my chicken nugget, AKA my dog Marla. The sweetest girl.
Marla has been with me since October of 2015. When I lived in New Jersey I rescued her and adopted her as my baby girl. Marla and I have been on many experiences and I am grateful for each and everyone of them. She made the trip with me from New Jersey to South Carolina in June of 2016. She traveled to Virginia multiple times to visit relatives. She explored North Carolina with myself and my friends hiking the mountains. She explored the downtown life of Spartanburg and Greenville, SC. Those are just to name a few.
We’ve hiked Crowders Mountain State Park, Looking Glass Rock, Table Rock State Park, Big Butt, and Parris Mountain. A few of the pictures below are from our outdoor adventures. Besides hiking she is the perfect running buddy.
For Christmas this past year I decided to create Christmas Cards. So yes, I did spend extensive amount of time trying to get the most adorable pictures of Marla by my Christmas tree while she wore one of my scarves. She definitely nailed it. A few other photos are from the dog park we frequented in New Jersey. It’s amazing how she and the other pups became friends.
Marla is said to be a mix between Coonhound and Bloodhound mix. I have had so many people say she resembles Dachshund as well. So things Marla enjoys: cuddling and getting pets for days, sitting on the balcony to keep an eye on what’s going on, and long walks on the beach (nah actually hiking and being in the outdoors). Please enjoy these loving photos of my precious chicken nugget, Marla.
